Housed in an iconic building designed by Daniel Libeskind on the edge of the Manchester Ship Canal the museum explores the impact of modern conflict on people and society and was opened in July 2002.
Just a few minutes walk from our Salford Quays drop off this is an excellent way to spend some time while at the quays having taken advantage of our hop on off on our City River Tours.
Entry to the museum is free but a donation is appreciated. There is an onsite cafe, toilets as well as gift shop.
