Terms and Conditions for the Manchester River Cruises competitions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are the rules which apply to Irwell & Mersey Packet Company Limited’s (trading as “Manchester River Cruises”) social media competitions (each a “Competition” and together the “Competitions”) offered by Manchester River Cruises unless otherwise expressly stated.
By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
Winners will be selected from likes made on either the event – https://www.facebook.com/events/205719033200512/, or on the main Manchester River Cruises Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/ManchesterRiverCruises/.
Two entries are allowed per contestant, one for the event page, one for the main page but each contestant is only permitted to be awarded one prize per competition.
There is no purchase requirement or fee to enter the Competition.
Entry is only open to residents of the United Kingdom who have a Twitter or Facebook account (as relevant). Employees of Manchester River Cruises or its affiliates and/or agencies associated with the Competitions and members of their immediate families (including any live-in partner) are ineligible to enter. Any such entries will be invalid.
Prize winners may not sell or otherwise dispose of for any commercial or other monetary value any of the Prizes.
Entries to a Competition must be made in the manner specified. Failure to do so will disqualify the entry.
Winners will be picked at random from Likes received between the opening date of the competition and the closing date. The decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into in relation to the same.
Each Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Manchester River Cruises reserves the right to substitute any Prize with an alternative at any time and shall notify entrants and/or Prize winners (as relevant) of the same.
Each Prize winner may be asked to take part in promotional activity and Manchester River Cruises reserves the right to use the names and locations of that Prize winner, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
Claims for a Prize must be made within the time and in the manner notified to the Prize winner upon notification by Manchester River Cruises that they have won a Prize. Failure to claim the Prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
In the event that Manchester River Cruises or its agent is reasonably unable to contact a Prize winner for whatever reason that Prize winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
Prize winners shall be given instructions as to how to collect their Prize and Manchester River Cruises reserves the right to request identification from Prize winners before their Prize is given to them.
